I'm pretty sure the new Avatar series is only gonna be 2 seasons, which is why there are no filler episodes. Which is also why there might be a rushed feeling.
Really 2 seasons? I wouldn’t have imagined anything past that personally, so that makes sense. Enough time to cover the main synopsis of the plot. It does suck there aren’t going to be any filler episodes, since that’s what built Last Airbender’s story so well.
